Creative Concepts

JUSTIFICATION

After reading the art director and client comments, I thought creating a logo that incorporated a concept in which graphic design diversity and creativity was expressed would be most important.

I wanted the logo to convey the creativity idea rather simply; therefore, I chose an artist's paintbrush and paint palette as the primary art of the image. I decided to use atypical colors for the paintbrush to establish that Creative Concepts is a graphic design company willing to craft projects outside of the box. Also, I decided to place the Creative Concept company name in black and bold letters along the paintbrush to ensure future clients can read the company name clearly, without any confusion.

By using abnormal shapes or the "ellipse tool" and more colors, other than just the primary colors on the paint palette, my goal was to ensure the logo insinuates that Creative Concepts Graphic Design has the capabilities to be artistic and imaginative, without using just basic colors and shapes. The primary reasoning behind the paintbrush is to symbolize Creative Concept's ability to make any type of logo a client could desire- just as how any image can be painted by a paintbrush. In the client comments, the note was made that Creative Concept's had previously focused on packaging design.

Hopefully, this new logo can emphasize the company's ability to be innovative in all areas of graphic design, aside from just packaging. Overall, I feel that the new logo incorporates Creative Concept's primary objectives.
